Office Building: Oman Electrical Transmission Company (OETC) buildings 

Firm/Location: Unique Seventh Dimension/ Oman 

Designation: Architectural Engineer / Site Engineer 

Involvement: Designed and created shop drawing for a three-building renovation project for the government of Oman. Attended weekly client meetings to ensure the project was proceeding on-time and on-budget. The project required the use of existing material and an existing structure to which new elements were added on a very tight project budget.

Mini Donut (Restaurant)

Restaurant: Mini Donut 

Firm/Location: Unique Seventh Dimension/ Oman 

Designation: Architectural Engineer / Site Engineer 

Involvement: Worked with client to develop a food truck-style design for the first branch of a new miniature donut take-away shop. Worked with craftsmen and specialty subcontractors to fabricate a truck-like facade while staying within the strict municipal design guidelines for the capital city. Conducted weekly site visits to ensure the quality of the construction through hand-over.

Dubai Fortress (Hotel)

Hotel: Fortress Hotel Dubai 

Firm/Location: DZone/ Dubai 

Designation: Architect 

Involvement: Created a conceptual design for a hotel to reflect the culture and heritage of the United Arab Emirates, using the traditional fortress as the primar inspiration for the project. The orientation of the building and design of the doors and windows were developed with an eye to sustainability in the extremely hot environment, using a central courtyard to maximize airflow and create a sense of airy openness.
